Only the most experienced, eagle-eyed, expert jeweler would ever conclude that this exceptional Art Deco style dazzler isn't from the 1920s. Starring a blazingly beautiful semi-transitional round brilliant-cut diamond (just the slightest open culet), weighing 2.30 carats, the striking octagonal setting effectively lends added dimension to the stunning stone (accompanied by a GIA Diamond Grading Report stating: J color - VS2 clarity). Competing for attention, however, is an almost equally spectacular mounting, intricately hand fabricated in platinum with rigorous attention paid to every fine detail, including neoclassical hand piercing, thorough hand engraving, delicate milgraining, and rows of full-cut diamonds glittering down each side (all in crisp, pristine condition--the main give-away of its more recent vintage). A truly superb and stunning ultra-sparkling trophy ring. Currently ring size 5.
