ABOUT THIS RING

Diamonds never fail to fascinate. Their journey from the depths of the earth to its surface is an arduous and explosive one. Some of these captivating carbon wonders make their entrance above ground bearing little signs of their natural birthmarks, and others, like the utterly intriguing 6.57 carat old mine-cut that blazes at the center of this stunning ring, display the evidence of their formation. Naturally--and beautifully---peppered with crystal inclusions (a mineral crystal that is contained within the diamond), this stone of unique character shines brilliantly in a surround of glimmering royal blue calibre sapphires above a lustrous platinum shank. The bold beauty of the ring is contrasted with flourishes of curlicues on the side gallery. Extraordinary! Total sapphire weight, 6.25 carats. Accompanied by a GIA Grading Report stating: M color - I1 clarity. Hand fabricated in platinum, currently ring size 7.

How to Pair Your Wedding Band

You found your ideal, beautiful, one-of-a-kind antique or vintage engagement ring… and then realized that you need a wedding band to go with it. Pairing the two can be tricky, since vintage engagement rings rarely come with matching bands, and many modern bands don’t accommodate vintage shapes and designs. So we created a line of vintage-style wedding bands, modeled after original pieces from our collection.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
