Some things bear repeating, and the exquisite aesthetic of the Art Deco era is one of them. This striking ring, designed in faithful emulation of the period's style (only an expert and high magnification will be able to discern it from its 1920's counterpart), presents a scintillating .99 carat round brilliant-cut diamond--flashing with fiery sparks of prismatic color--in a radial frame that shimmers with small round modern European-cut diamonds enwrapped by ribbons of cobalt-blue calibre sapphires. The sapphires extend to diamond-frosted shoulders, each accented with a single teeny tiny sapphire. A glittering gallery adds the finishing flourish to this elegant and striking Jazz Age-style jewel. Total diamond weight - 1.54 carats, total sapphire weight - 1.20 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum, it is currently ring size 6 1/2. GIA Diamond Grading Report states: K color - VVS2 clarity.
