ABOUT THIS RING

So simple and uncomplicated. Yet, straight lines plus crisp angles create exceptionally striking designs. This Art Deco-style ring is a captivating example of such a collaboration. A superb 5.50 carat rectangular light pastel-blue aquamarine is surrounded in shimmering contrast by a diamond-set octagonal frame, punctuated by pairs of cherry-red square-cut rubies, all together creating an elegant geometric assemblage that graces the top of a slender platinum shank. Subtle details on the shoulders and a lacy undergallery add the finishing flourishes to this arresting jewel of color and sparkle. Total diamond weight - .65 carat, total ruby weight - .65 carat. Hand fabricated in platinum, it is currently ring size 6 1/2. Condition note: one ruby has a small nick.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
