The beauty of imagination. It starts in the mind and manifests in something like this--a striking and utterly original jewel of color, contrast, and sparkle. An oval bloodstone, also known as heliotrope, gleams with an ultra-deep green hue--naturally decorated with rich red inclusions--is enhanced, in arresting contrast, by a halo of persimmon-colored cabochon corals. A circle of light surrounds the alluring assemblage courtesy of 52 scintillating single-cut diamonds, all of which are supported by flared shoulders set with diamonds and a single coral cabochon. Milgrain edging and an undergallery with a delightful scroll design add the finishing details to this astonishing, highly distinctive and sizable (1-inch) Art Deco-style adornment. Total diamond weight, .55 carat. Hand fabricated in platinum, currently ring size 7 1/2.
