ABOUT THIS RING

Faithfully emulating the timeless geometric designs of the 1920s, this distinctively striking Art Deco-style ring is hand fabricated in platinum with rigorous attention paid to each and every delightful detail. A .35 carat European/transitional round brilliant-cut diamond scintillates atop deeply beveled sides, artfully embellished with stylized chevrons of gleaming red scissor-cut calibre rubies and accented by tiny twinkling single-cut diamonds, all supported by an intricately engraved gallery. Engraved shoulders, each brightened by a single ruby, lead to a currently size 6 shank. Fine miligrain edging throughout adds the finishing touch to this jubilant Jazz Age-style jewel. Total diamond weight - .49 carat, total ruby weight - 1.10 carats.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
