ABOUT THIS RING

Following on the heels of the fabulous and flashy cocktail rings made popular during Prohibition, the more subtle--yet still glamourous--dinner ring became all the rage in the 1930s. Crafted with an ever-elegant vertical orientation, this beauty defines the style of the times, presenting a trio of lively round brilliants set against an artistically hand-pierced openwork design, embellished with glimmering deep blue synthetic* marquise-shaped sapphires. A easy-to-wear Deco delight. *Original to the period and often used for their flawless clarity and color consistency. Total diamond weight, .25 carat, total sapphire weight, .50 carat. Die-struck in 14K white gold, it measures just shy of one inch long. Currently ring size 7 1/4. Note: not for everyday wear.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
