ABOUT THIS BRACELET

This sleek and slender 1920s Art Deco straight line bracelet is adorned with alternating midnight blue French-cut synthetic* sapphires and lively European-cut diamonds set in geometric millegrain-edged, hand-engraved box links. Subtle--yet striking-- when worn solo, or wear it with a mix of bracelet styles for an eclectic vibe. Total diamond weight - .50 carat, total synthetic sapphire weight - 3.25 carats. Die-cut in 14K white gold, it measures 1/4 by 7 inches. *Back in the day, circa 1920s-30s, due to their color consistency and flawless clarity, synthetic sapphires were considered a modern improvement over their natural counterparts, their differences only discernible with a microscope. Condition note: synthetic sapphires show some signs of wear appropriate with age of bracelet.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
