Art Deco Three-Stone Diamond Dinner Ring
10-1-14440
ABOUT THIS RING
An elongated platinum diamond dinner ring from the 1920s scintillates down the center with a trio of bright European-cut diamonds in octagonal settings, and pops with a bit of color courtesy of calibre synthetic sapphires.* Elaborate openwork designs and fine milgrain engraving create lovely visual details, while a hand-engraved pattern all around the shank adds the finishing flourish. Total diamond weight, .75 carat. Currently ring size 6 1/2. *Back in the day, circa 1920s-30s, due to their uniformity of color and flawless clarity, synthetic sapphires were considered a modern improvement over their natural counterparts, their differences discernible only with a microscope.
