ABOUT THIS RING
Symmetry: beauty of form arising from balanced proportions. If Merriam-Webster were to add a visual for this definition they could do no better than to picture this magnificent ring. Each design element in this altogether alluring Art Deco jewel is beautifully balanced to create a stunning dome of light and color. Two irrepressibly sparkling European-cut diamonds (total weight, 1.62 carats), accented by two smaller stones, are set in a navette shape outlined by glimmering cobalt blue calibre sapphires. This striking focal piece rests in a symmetrically pierced surround that shimmers with tiny diamonds--Swiss, single, and European cuts--punctuated with four mirror-like baguettes. Milgrain edging throughout adds the final design detail to this sumptuous Jazz Age jewel. Total diamond weight - 3.02 carats, total sapphire weight - .55 carat. Hand fabricated in platinum, circa 1920s-30s, currently ring size 5
