ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
A precious as can be, this transitional Victorian/Art Nouveau lavalière necklace, dating back to the turn-of-the-20th-century, is delicately hand fabricated in warmly burnished 14K yellow gold and centers on a lavender-purple lozenge-shaped amethyst ornately adorned all around by teeny-tiny seed pearls, graceful scrolls and flowers, and a single twinkling diamond. For a final flourish, a lustrous freshwater wing pearl dances below. Utterly charming. The original chain measures 16 inches (total length with floral embellishment, 17 1/2 inches).
