ABOUT THIS BROOCH

Held by a small band of pearls, a splendid flower--richly colored with a pinkish-burnt orange enamel--gently bends in a surround of gracefully curving leaves or reeds, two set with pearls, the other shimmering with bright green enamel, all creating a lovely sense of motion in this exquisite Art Nouveau brooch. A single European-cut diamond adds a spot of sparkling light. Hand fabricated in 14K gold, circa 1890-1900.
