An unexpected combination. A Roman Centurion, hand carved intaglio in deep root beer-colored sardonyx (carnelian), is presented in elegant floral Art Nouveau (with a nod to Arts and Crafts) style, between a pair of orange blossoms shining with glinting bezel-set rose-cut diamonds. This distinctively stunning dinner ring is crafted in thoroughly textured 14K yellow gold, circa 1900. Just shy of 1 inch, currently ring size 5.
