Arts and Crafts Opal Sapphire and Pearl Dinner Ring
30-1-11494
ABOUT THIS RING
An eclectic mix of stones and motifs make this offbeat Arts and Crafts--circa 1900-- bauble a unique and quirky collectible. At center stage is an oval opal (weighing 1.20 carats), suffused with a soft glow and presenting a confetti-like color play of bright green, blue, and pinkish-orange. The mesmerizing gem is entwined by an array of curlicues punctuated with bezel set sapphires and natural pearls, buttressed by shoulders embellished with orange blossoms--a symbol of love-- and grapevines (typical of the period). Wow! Just over 1-inch long. Hand fabricated in 14K gold, currently ring size 4 1/4 (with limited sizing available).
