Faithful to their family creed, "Never copy, only create," the Cartiers have designed some of the most extraordinary and iconic jewelry. In this breathtaking pendant necklace (converted from a brooch), centered by an irrepressibly bright-white and sparkling .85 carat European-cut diamond, looping ribbons--set with round, rose, and old mine-cut diamonds--form a lacy navette shape that connects to a Figaro chain via a harlequin-set old mine cut. What better backdrop for this masterpiece than your neck. Total diamond weight, 4.25 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum - circa 1920. 17-inch chain.
