ABOUT THESE EARRINGS

About as fine and fabulous as Art Deco earrings come, these ravishing rarities, hand fabricated in platinum during the peak of the period, circa 1925, each sizzle up and down with five bright-white and sparkling bezel-set European-cut diamonds. The elegantly elongated bell-shaped designs are intricately appointed with tiny accent diamonds, decorative piercing, delicate milgraining, and slender ribbons of royal blue French-cut calibre sapphires. The 1 13/16 inch long drops swing, sway and sparkle, and slip on and off the newly rendered bezel-set diamond studs (that can be worn alone), bringing the full length to 2 inches. Superb, striking and sophisticated Jazz Age jewels. 7.66 carat total diamond weight.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
