ABOUT THIS RING

Chic since way (way) back, snake rings show no sign of falling out of favor. Though very popular during the Victorian era, this one hails from the 1930s-40s. Each crowned with a raspberry-red ruby, two finely engraved serpents embrace in reptilian fashion, while a bright old mine cut diamond sparkles brightly between them. A captivating coil for your finger. Hand fabricated in 14K rosy-yellow gold.

About Retro Jewelry

Hollywood glam got creative during the war era, when strategic factors forced jewelers to do without certain materials. Rather than scale back, they took the streamlined shapes of the Art Deco and went big, bold, and gold with them! Retro power pieces segued from the Jazz Age to the Fabulous Fifties, creating many motifs of vintage jewelry along the way.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
