The angels are in the intricate details of this classic Jazz Age jewel, by Chicago's preeminent jeweler since 1837--C.D. Peacock. Beautifully representing the transition from the Edwardian to the Art Deco design period, the radiant ring stars a bright and shining .95 carat European-cut diamond enthroned in an exceptional platinum mounting, die-struck and thoroughly ornamented with decorative hand piercing, delicate milgraining, hand engraving, and a handful of tiny twinkling single-cut diamonds. Few late Edwardian delicacies come as fine and fabulous as this delightful dazzler. Circa 1920. Currently ring size 5 1/4+. GIA Diamond Grading Report states: K color - VS2 clarity.
