In this glorious Edwardian-era jewel, a luminous translucent opal gleams with celestial shades of violet, blue,and green surrounded by a beautifully pierced, scalloped navette halo set with single-cut diamonds that sparkle and glisten like dewdrops. The gracefully flared shoulders are adorned with diamonds and lead to a currently size 6 ring shank. Finished throughout with fine millegrain detailing. Opal weight, .95 carat, total diamond weight, .45 carat. Hand fabricated in platinum over 14K gold, circa early-20th-century.
