ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
Evocative of a cathedral's stained glass window, this lacy Edwardian confection has a flower-like openwork design dotted with tiny rose-cut diamonds and centered by a lively .62 carat European-cut diamond. For a finishing flourish, its perimeter is framed by a company of luminous natural pearls. Hand fabricated in platinum around the first or second decade of the twentieth century, the pendant (formerly a brooch) now suspends from an 18 inch chain. Total diamond weight, 1.22 carats.
