Lightly hand fabricated in platinum, this exquisite Edwardian delicacy, measuring 2 5/8 inches long, lithe, and lovely, culminates in an icy-white and sparkling bezel-set European-cut diamond weighing .55 carat. The graceful elongated open bell shape design is aglitter with an array of round diamonds and suspends from a lustrous 15-inch-long natural platinum and pearl chain. Fine, feminine, and fabulous. Circa 1910.

About Edwardian Jewelry

Edwardians took the dark beauty of Victorian jewelry and dyed it platinum blonde. Light and airy filigree, worked with intricate millegrain and detailed designs in that durable metal, was liberally set with the “white” stones—pearls and diamonds chief among them.
