Edwardian Diamond and Pearl Boucheron Watch Necklace
ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
Extraordinary timepiece. Exquisite necklace. Enchanting work of art. This ravishing and arresting Edwardian pendant watch necklace is all of these and more. The hexagonal shaped pendant is artfully pierced and frosted with glimmering rose-cut diamonds, the front centered with ballet slipper-pink enamel overlaid with a diamond-set wreath that encircles a larger stone. When there is time to tell, the reverse presents a pink enamel-rimmed timepiece by Boucheron of Paris. The miniature masterpiece connects to a woven chain of luminous seed pearls--punctuated by diamond-set navette-shaped stations--via an openwork ornamental element that shimmers with a mix of old mine, single, and rose-cut diamonds. An utterly captivating collectable - circa 1915. Total diamond weight, 3.65 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum. Chain measures 24 inches.
