Curvaceous and slightly concave, the graceful design of this openwork Edwardian pendant is brightened by a rare and radiant .82 carat deep cornflower blue Montana sapphire and sparkles with a lively European-cut diamond and smaller European- and Swiss-cut stones. Adding a bit of extra motion, a pear-shaped, diamond-topped Montana sapphire dangles below. An elegant way to elevate your casual wear—or any wear. Total diamond weight - .84 carat, total sapphire weight - 1.50 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum, the pendant suspends from a 16 1/4-inch long-short cable chain. Gemological reports from American Gemological Laboratories for both sapphires state: No heat. Montana, USA - origin. Note: The top stone fluoresces red, which often indicates that a sapphire is from the Yogo Gulch region of Montana, known for stones of ultra-high clarity and a vivid cornflower blue color. Edwardians took the dark beauty of Victorian jewelry and dyed it platinum blonde.
