This exquisite early-Edwardian-era pendant, artfully conceived with a lovely ribbon-centered open design, sparkles with an array of European and rose-cut diamonds brightly punctuated with six vibrant apple-green demantoid garnets from the Ural Mountains of Russia. A lustrous freshwater pearl dances below adding the final pretty flourish. Total diamond weight - 1.65 carats, total garnet weight - .40 carat. Hand fabricated in platinum over 18K gold, circa 1890-1900. Platinum chain measures 18 inches.

Edwardians took the dark beauty of Victorian jewelry and dyed it platinum blonde.
