Edwardian Diamond Flower Pendant/Brooch
ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
Dating back to the first or second decade of the twentieth century, this exquisite Edwardian-era adornment, lightly and lovingly hand fabricated in platinum over gold, artfully incorporates negative space into the graceful open flower design. A central, bezel-set quarter-carat European-cut diamond radiates in all directions with diamond-set petals interspersed with triple leaves set with tiny glittering rose-cut diamonds. The pendant is outfitted with a removable pin stem mechanism that allows it to double as a brooch. Total diamond weight, 1.20 carats. The new platinum chain measures 18 inches.
