Why settle for a plain old lily pad when you can make your eternal home this fabulous work of wearable art? Our fine ruby-eyed, emerald and diamond-studded amphibian friend will not soon be jumping off her sparkling landscape composed of finely milgrained platinum wire work (diamond-studded reeds keep her afloat) framed all around with stylized spiderwebs to entrap her delicious insect cuisine. This wonderful, whimsical, one-of-a-kind late-Edwardian/early-Art Deco masterpiece (circa 1915-1920) measures a striking 2 3/4 by 1 7/8 inches and doubles as a brooch and pendant.
