Something unique, striking, and distinctively stunning? Here it is! Dating back to the first or second decade of the twentieth century, this remarkable Edwardian delicacy showcases an unusual and intriguing gemstone: a large tablet-shaped fully faceted garnet. Emanating a deep cranberry-red hue, the 16.00 carat gemstone is fancifully framed in delicately hand-fabricated and hand-pierced platinum, aglitter with tiny European-cut diamonds and a handful of rose-cuts. The pendant suspends from a slender diamond-set extender, bringing the length of this extraordinary jewel to 2 1/4 inches. The newer chain measures 19 inches.
