ABOUT THIS RING
A bright, oval cushion-cut Burmese ruby, unheated and weighing 1.00 carat (but appearing larger due to its shallow cut), and displaying a vibrant pinkish-red color, glistens in the center of concentric diamond-set ovals, crafted in platinum over 18K gold and glittering with a half-carat of bright-white antique-cut diamonds. A splash of diamonds also enliven the tops of the currently size 8 1/2, 18K gold ring shank. Circa 1910-early-1920s. The top measures 5/8 by 9/16 inch.
