In this sweet and lovely and colorful Edwardian era pendant (formerly a brooch), a circle of 14 oval cabochon opals glisten, gleam, and glow with translucent pastel rainbow hues and is enhanced around its outer border with tiny twinkling old mine-cut diamonds (total weight, .30 carat). Hand fabricated in platinum over 14K yellow gold, it dates back to the first or second decade of the twentieth century. 7/8 inch diameter. The new chain measures 18 inches.
