A graceful ruby-eyed swan, aglitter up and down and all around with old mine-cut diamonds set in her neck and plumage, shimmers front and center with an ethereal opal aglow with iridescent turquoise and lavender hues, evocative of hummingbird feathers. Enchanting. Circa 1900. 1.35 carat total diamond weight. Hand fabricated in 14K rosy-yellow gold. 1 and 1/4 inches (both directions). Condition note: Minor crazing to opal--priced accordingly. One diamond is chipped.

Edwardians took the dark beauty of Victorian jewelry and dyed it platinum blonde.
