This darling Edwardian ring, dating from the early-20th century, is brightened by a cushion cut and two oval deep ocean-blue sapphires interspersed by pairs of lively old mine and single cut diamonds, all of which make a pretty showing across the top of a luminous gold band. Total sapphire weight, .80 carat. Hand fabricated in platinum over 18K gold, currently ring size 5.

Edwardians took the dark beauty of Victorian jewelry and dyed it platinum blonde.
