Edwardian Seed Pearl and Diamond Bow Brooch/Necklace
ABOUT THIS JEWELRY
Old world grace and refinement is exemplified in this exquisite Edwardian delicacy. The ravishing jewel, fashioned as a highly stylized bow with a foliate motif, is an openwork wonder of scrolls, scallops, and sweeping lines, shimmering with the light of 130 tiny European, Swiss, and single-cut diamonds, with a single .38 carat European-cut shining brightly beneath a spray of twinkling leaves. Lustrous natural seed pearls curve around its perimeter and create a lustrous edge on the 'ribbon' that dangles below. Milgrain edging throughout adds the final subtle detail. As is fitting, the pendant suspends from a 16-inch chain of cultured pearls (a later addition). Your neckline is the perfect place to display this masterpiece. Total diamond weight, 2.13 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum - circa 1910 - and can also be worn as a brooch with a removable mechanism.. *This exceptional jewel is from the estate of a renowned A-list Hollywood actor (only to be revealed upon purchase ;).
