First gaining attention in 1796 when Napoleon Bonaparte gifted one to his wife, Josephine de Beauharnais, the toi et moi ring, meaning "you and me" in French, is a romantic expression of two coming together in love. Like the one that Empress Josephine received, this columnar jewel is set with a radiant .50 carat European-cut diamond and a deep velvety blue .80 carat sapphire, with bright sashes of glittering old mine-cut diamonds connecting the two. A beautiful union indeed. Total diamond weight, .90 carat. Hand fabricated in 18K gold, currently ring size 5 1/4.
