ABOUT THIS RING
A syzygy, according to Prof. Wikipedia, is defined as follows: the nearly straight-line configuration of three celestial bodies (such as the sun, moon, and earth during a solar or lunar eclipse) in a gravitational system. Here we have three celestial bodies--glowing blue flash moonstones--perfectly aligned in 18K yellow gold, gracefully adorned with hand-engraved scrolls and accented with a sprinkling of tiny glinting rose-cut diamonds. A rare, radiant, ravishing and pristine Edwardian-era jewel, most likely of British origin - circa 1910. Currently ring size 5 1/4.
