ABOUT THIS RING

Some of the most lovely things are blue; the sky, the ocean--and the sapphire in this delightful Art Deco ring. With it's clear, bright cornflower blue color, the 1.50 carat oval stone is simply set with split prongs above a gallery designed with a geometric pattern. The sleek and slender shoulders, supported by chenier tubing, are accented with subtle details. An understated beauty by way of early-20th-century France. Hand fabricated in platinum, currently ring size 5. Accompanied by a gemological report from Stone Group Laboratory stating: Natural, Evidence of Clarity Enhancement, Ceylon origin.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
