ABOUT THIS WATCH

Finely hand fabricated in platinum during the early Art Deco period - circa 1920 - this stunning and sophisticated elongated octagonal-shaped timepiece is strikingly adorned with small sparkling diamonds, accented with rich royal blue calibre synthetic sapphires* and a cabochon sapphire crown. A dreamy and delicate original Jazz Age jewel with French marks. The case measures 3/4 inch wide, including the crown, by 1 inch long. Adjustable black ribbon strap. *Back in the day, circa 1920s-30s, due to their uniformity of color and flawless clarity, synthetic sapphires were considered a modern improvement over their natural counterparts, besides the fact that the virtually undetectable differences are only discernible with a microscope.
