ABOUT THIS RING

Dating back to the zenith of the Art Deco period (circa 1920)--more than likely from Paris during the days of Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Gertrude Stein, Josephine Baker, et al--comes this dynamic geometric Art Deco dazzler, crowned with a bright and shining half-cart antique cushion-cut diamond and embellished on eight beveled sides with small, glittering pavé-set old mine-cut diamonds. A superb and stunning ultra-sparkling Jazz Age jewel. 1.90 carat total diamond weight. Hand fabricated in platinum with an 18K white gold shank, currently ring size 5 1/2. French assay mark at base of ring shank.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
