Like its celestial namesake, the moonstone--with its glowing adularescence--emanates a billowy, bluish moonlight-like sheen and is linked to protection, love, and other romantic notions associated with the moon. The enchanting and ethereal and sizable (27.00 carat) moonstone that glows in this alluring Art Deco pendant rests in a coin-edge bezel and is surrounded by a distinctively designed frame frosted with shimmering single-cut diamonds and is accented--in striking contrast--by glimmering ocean-blue calibre sapphires. A breathtaking beauty. By way of 1920s France (a legendary time and place). Total diamond weight - .85 carat, total sapphire weight - 2.50 carats. Hand-fabricated in platinum. The new platinum chain measures 18 inches.
