ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

Just like people, sometimes jewelry reinvents itself (with the help of talented jewelers, of course!). Once a pocket watch chain (circa 1920), this lovely length of links is now a quite versatile necklace. Hand fabricated in contrasting white and yellow 18K gold, it features slender navette-shaped links--open in their centers and accented with millegrain detailing--that connect via bits of cable chain. Joined together by an S-ring and swivel clasp, it makes a simple, yet striking, statement worn alone and also layers well with other necklaces. Have a favorite pendant? This all-around cool jewel is happy to display it for you. French hallmarks. Measures 15 3/4 inches.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
