Georgian - Circa 1788 - Diamond and Enamel Ring
SKU

ABOUT THIS RING
A rare and wonderful, one inch long, diamond dinner ring, dating back to eighteenth century Georgian, England, glitters on top with a navette shape cluster of rose-cut diamonds set atop a dramatic cobalt blue enamel background. This resplendent survivor is in remarkable condition and is inscribed on the back, "Mary Pierson Oct. 20, 1788" (plus a (French?) word we can't make out followed by "82"). Due to the delicate nature of this beauty, this ring can not be sized.
