ABOUT THIS RING
A central, foil-backed, old mine-cut diamond sparkles from within a glittering frame of rose-cut diamonds, in this rare, original Georgian ring, hand crafted during the the late-18th/ early-19th century (most likely in Great Britain) in silver over 14K yellow gold. The ornate 'V' shaped shoulders are superbly decorated with a stylized, open foliate motif. The ring measures 1/2 inch in diameter and is currently a size 7 3/4. Rings of this age are not recommended for daily wear.
