ABOUT THIS RING
A big, bright and beautiful round rose-cut diamond, weighing about 1.45 carats, but having the spread of a 2.50 carat modern-cut stone, flashes from within a silver foil-backed setting orbited by 14 small rose-cut diamonds. Crafted in silver over 18K gold in the Netherlands during the middle of the twentieth century in emulation of late-eighteenth/early-nineteenth English Georgian style. Note the fancifully rendered ring shank. The top of the ring measures an impressive 5/8 inch across and is currently ring size 7 1/2. (A bit too delicate for an everyday engagement ring.)
