About Estate Jewelry

Though it calls to mind grand manor houses in the English countryside, “estate” is just a fancy way of describing any piece of jewelry with a previous owner. That’s pretty much everything in our collection, with the exception of the Lang engagement and wedding band collections, which we design ourselves in faithful vintage style (and even our engagement rings feature original antique center stones). We tend to use “estate” to refer to pieces in our collection with a more modern or contemporary design, or vintage-inspired designs. These perennial gems are selected in harmony with our original antique and vintage pieces…they’re just a little bit younger!

Estate engagement rings offer an eco-friendly alternative to newly-made rings, for ethical style options ranging from vintage to contemporary. With chic settings that can be harder to find in true antique rings, they appeal to a broad audience while remaining anything but ordinary. Our collection of estate engagement rings often includes signed designer pieces as well, in styles (and prices) not always included in the jewelry house’s current offerings.

Exceptional colored gemstones radiate vibrant color from many of our most breathtaking estate pieces, especially stunning rings. These tempting gems—like candy for grown-ups!—come in a rainbow of delicious hues, and we’re always amazed at the richness nature has to offer.
