ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

A rare, radiant and ravishing Art Deco necklace, circa 1930, by the eminent Madrid, Paris and London joaillier - Lacloche Frères, starring a placid pastel blue aquamarine gemstone, weighing 18.51 carats. The lovely emerald-cut aqua centers a platinum and diamond pagoda motif frame finished with a baguette diamond tassels dancing below. The 17-inch necklace is comprised of geometric links glittering all around with small single-cut diamonds. French assay marks on five links. A singular, stunning, signed Art Deco treasure. C'est magnifique!

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
