ABOUT THIS BROOCH

This big, bold and beautiful bug, measuring 1 3/4 inches by 1 5/8 inches, is buzzing with 1.85 carats of sparkling round diamonds. His or her abdomen is striped in cobalt blue enamel and its head shimmers with a round Mabe pearl and ruby eyes. Fabricated in 14 karat yellow gold sometime during the mid-twentieth century. A bee pin fit for a queen (bee)!
