J. E. Caldwell is one of America's oldest and finest jewelers. 4.00 carats of oval-cut blue and violet color-changing sapphires* make up the glistening flower head of this wonderful Mid-Century brooch. The 18K yellow gold stem is enhanced by gracefully curving leaves and a trio of ruby, sapphire, and emerald 'dew drops.'  Stamped JEC&CO, circa the 1950s. This strikingly  lovely and collectible brooch measures 2 1/8 inches by 1 1/2 inches. Total diamond weight - .25 carat, total gemstone weight - 4.40 carats. *Natural. No indications of Thermal Enhancements.
