A raspberry-hued pink sapphire, weighing 1.50 carats, glistens and glows in the center of this geometrically constructed, consummate Art Deco dinner - or cocktail - ring (cocktails first, then dinner) superbly handcrafted in platinum - circa 1920s. The electric gemstone is surrounded by one carat of deep-cut old-mine diamonds accented with decorative openwork and fine milgrain details. An elaborate openwork gallery and engraved bullet-shape shoulders add the finishing flourishes to this singular and sensational original Art Deco jewel.
