ABOUT THIS RING

From the 1940s, a Retro masterwork with Art Deco influence, this chic and sophisticated design is rendered in tri-color 14 karat yellow gold - rose gold, and platinum - to show off this deep, richly saturated red Burmese ruby, weighing 2.11 carats. Three seamlessly-set square-cut diamonds roll over the scrolled design which also incorporates five European-cut diamonds on the tapered setting's crescent shape end. A stunning original. The gemstones are described as follows: Total diamond weight, .75 carat, Currently ring size 5 3/4. Accompanied by a gemological report from Stone Group Laboratory.

About Retro Jewelry

Hollywood glam got creative during the war era, when strategic factors forced jewelers to do without certain materials. Rather than scale back, they took the streamlined shapes of the Art Deco and went big, bold, and gold with them! Retro power pieces segued from the Jazz Age to the Fabulous Fifties, creating many motifs of vintage jewelry along the way.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
