Although virtually de rigueur during the roaring '20s, you don't see many double-clip brooches from the 1940s--a period that largely favored asymmetrical design. This striking double dazzler exhibits a perfect blending of the two styles. Sweeping rosy-yellow gold ribbons transition in the center into glittering diamonds accented with rich cherry-red synthetic ruby sashes, outlined in turn by arcs of sparkling diamonds. Whether worn together as a brooch or separately as clips, these twin jewels are absolutely fabulous. 1.80 carat total diamond weight. Hand fabricated in platinum over 18K rosy-yellow gold. The combined brooch measures 3 inches across.
