During the 1950s Ruser jewelry was all the rage in Hollywood. You werent in fashion unless you were wearing one of his whimsical pins. This pin is from his children of the week series. I think it is Monday as the child is clutching a book and looks eager to learn. The pin is executed in 14 karat gold and the child sits on a cloud of freshwater pearls with a diamond set halo and sapphire eyes.
